Beginnings
Since 1980 when Mr. Gonzalo Diaz start trading fish oil and fish meal, we have dedicated ourselves to being a supplier of raw materials necessary for animal feed. Together with the industry we have grown and progressed, developing new ingredients, cooperating with the incorporation and implementation of new sources of protein in the market.
Integration
At the end of 1990 Mr Gonzalo invite his son, Rodrigo Diaz who immediately start looking for new sources of proteins in the marke. With his innitiative at the beginning of the 21st century, we incorporated a strong national and international logistics component into our operations, serving as a bridge and as a commercial partner for our customers to provide products from Europe, Asia, the United States and within Latin America.
Internacional Expansion
Hand in hand with the growth of our operations in North America in 2011 and seeking to have a greater synergy of our operations, Terramar USA was born, which became the logistics arm of Terramar to Chile and the world.
Consolidation in Chile
After years of work we consolidate our operations in the heart of the Bio Bio Region. In 2015, we inaugurated our 12,000 M2 logistics center in Coronel. Strategically located to deliver and receive products, we project in this location the next 20 years of our operation.
New Horizons
Terramar SBH was born with the aim of providing a different service to salmon feed plants. With a strong look into the future we begin this adventure were intend to continue contributing with technology and avant-garde to the industry as we have done for so many years.
Global Integration
Reflecting our commitment to the industry and with a strong conviction that we can still contribute a lot to our customers, in 2021 we will inaugurate our rendering plant in France. With this new operation we will supply the world with high quality and noble products made with state-of-the-art technology and designed 100% with an eye on the requirements of our customers.
